Terms of Service
Last updated: October 2026. Provider: see Impressum. These terms govern DeployButler's paid services booked via this website or Stripe payment links.
1. What we sell
DeployButler sells services only: guided setup, done-for-you deployment, and team setup for the open-source software rakazo on servers owned by the customer. Rakazo is free, Apache-2.0 open-source software by its respective authors; it is never sold by us. DeployButler is an independent service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the rakazo project.
2. Ordering and payment
Orders are placed via the Stripe payment links published on our pricing page or sent by email. Work begins after payment is received and scope is confirmed by email. Prices are one-time fees in USD unless stated otherwise. VPS, domain, and model subscription/API costs are billed by those providers directly to the customer and are never included.
3. Customer duties
Deployment requires the customer to: (a) provide a server in their own account, (b) personally perform all credential steps — account registration, passwords, verification codes, and API keys are never shared with us, (c) be available for about 30 minutes during the deployment session, and (d) provide accurate information about the intended use. If a session cannot proceed because these duties are unmet, we will reschedule once free of charge.
4. Delivery and acceptance
A deployment is delivered when: rakazo is installed and reachable via HTTPS, signups are locked, the first bot passes our acceptance tests (memory, tool use, live information), and a delivery log has been sent. Done-for-you orders include 7 days of follow-up Q&A about the delivered setup. Ongoing upgrades, monitoring, and support beyond that window are part of our managed hosting plans, which are not yet generally available.
5. Refunds
If we have not started work, you receive a full refund on request. If we started but cannot complete the deployment for reasons on our side, you receive a full refund. If completion is blocked on the customer's side for more than 14 days, we will refund 50% and close the order, or keep it open by written agreement. Statutory consumer rights (including EU withdrawal rights, where applicable) remain unaffected.
6. Third-party software
Rakazo is beta software that evolves quickly. We deploy and verify the version current at delivery time; we are not responsible for later upstream changes, outages of third-party providers (hosting, model APIs, integrations), or their pricing.
7. Liability
We are liable for intent and gross negligence without limitation. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential contractual duties, limited to the amount paid for the order concerned. Nothing in these terms limits liability under mandatory law.
8. Governing law
German law applies. Place of jurisdiction, where permitted, is Hamburg, Germany. If any provision is invalid, the remaining provisions stay in force.
